Do I need to have an ARN?

You are not required to hold an Aviation Reference Number (ARN) to complete our theory courses, however you will require an ARN to sit any theory examinations or to participate in flight training.

What payment methods are accepted?

The WA Aviation College accepts cash, major credit cards and cheques. If you intend on making payment by cheque, the cheque must be cleared prior to commencement of your course.

What about meals?

Students have access to a kitchen which includes a refrigerator, microwaves, sandwich press and washing facilities. If you wish to purchase your breakfast or lunch, The Apron Café is located on the first floor of our building.

What do I wear to class?

Full time students are required to wear a white pilot shirt, with a blue tie, black pants and dress shoes. Students on casual courses should wear neat casual attire, with closed in shoes.

Is parking available?

Yes, we have limited free car parking available on a first come, first served basis. Once this carpark is full, free parking is available opposite our premises.

Do I need to book my CASA CyberExams for each subject that I sit?

Students on the Diploma course will have bookings made by the College on their behalf. All others will need to book exams independently via ASPEQ.

How do I pay?

Payments are set based upon the expected accrued costs in each calendar month. VET Student Loans are available for some Diploma courses. Casual students on pilot theory courses are required to pay in advance prior to day one of the course.

Is internet available?

Yes, free wifi is available throughout our premises.
